Skills: Participants are expected to have some prior technological knowledge, such as recording simple videos with cell phones or ipads, downloading apps and using the email.
Flipped Learning (English)
A 4-week online course which aims at providing teachers the opportunity to reflect about and explore Flipped Learning possibilities. Each week, participants are expected to read articles, watch videos, participate in discussions and reflect about Flipped Learning in the classroom. We believe teachers can benefit a lot by learning in community, therefore, we aim to create a friendly environment where participants can contribute with their own knowledge and also learn with others.
During this course you will:
read several articles about Flipped Learning.
watch videos about the topic.
participate in discussion forums.
explore different apps and webtools to create flipped videos.
create a flipped video.
exchange ideas with other professionals.
devise a lesson sequence or an activity incorporating the Flipped Classroom approach.
The content will be built throughout the course with participants' contributions as well as suggestions proposed by the course moderator.

YOU WILL NEED

The course will cover 4 weeks from the start date. Participants are expected to spend around 8-10 hours per week reading articles, participating in discussion forums and developing individual and group work. There are some optional tasks to those who wish to move further.
Ana Maria Menezes, M.A.
An EFL teacher, teacher developer and an experienced online moderator. She holds an M.A. degree in Applied Linguistics, in the area of teacher development in virtual environments. She also writes about new learning possibilities on her blog LIFE FEAST and has organized her work in three ebooks for EFL teachers: Webtools applied to teaching, Developing the 4 Skills with Webtools and FCE goes digital. She has co-moderated several EVO sessions and has given talks at International Conferences. This is her VISUAL CV.
Márcia Lima has been involved in TEFL for the past 30 years. She currently trains teachers, designs materials and manages her own language school in Brazil. She’s a proud iTDi associate, Webhead, Reform Symposium Conference co-organizer, Braz-Tesol Goiânia Vice-President and Cambridge examiner. Her passions include using social media to share and learn with other teachers around the world, teaching young learners and EdTech.
By the end of the course, participants will be invited to self-evaluate their performance during the course.
A CERTIFICATE will be issued by ConnectMe Education to participants who cover 80% of the proposed activities.
